On Sunday, June 26, 2016, the Haiti Relief Fund Expedition Crew carried out focused cholera prevention activities aimed at protecting vulnerable communities and reducing the spread of the disease.
During the mission, the crew distributed clean water supplies, sanitation materials, and cholera prevention kits. Team members also engaged directly with families to provide education on hygiene practices, safe water handling, and recognizing early symptoms of cholera to ensure timely treatment.
Haiti Relief Fund’s prevention missions play a critical role in safeguarding public health and strengthening community resilience. Through consistent fieldwork and education, the expedition crew continues to support a healthier and safer future for communities across Haiti.
Our mission is to provide emergency relief, medical support, housing, education, and sustainable development for families in need.
