Fighting Cholera in Haiti with Lantana Pharmacy

A Lifesaving Medical Donation in a Time of Crisis

January 12, 2011 — One year after the devastating earthquake, Haiti faced another major crisis as cholera spread rapidly across the country. During this critical time, Dr. Haroun and his wife Jacqueline, owners of Lantana Pharmacy in Lantana, Florida, stepped forward with a generous and lifesaving contribution.

Lantana Pharmacy donated 100 cases of Lactated Ringers Injection USP to the Haiti Relief Fund, providing essential medical supplies needed to treat cholera patients and save lives.

Reaching Communities Most in Need

Haiti Relief Fund will ensure that this vital medical donation is distributed to Cholera Treatment Centers (CTCs) across Haiti, with a special focus on areas outside Port-au-Prince, where access to medical assistance has been extremely limited.

Standing Together Against Cholera

This generous act of compassion demonstrates how partnerships can make a real difference during humanitarian emergencies. The support from Lantana Pharmacy strengthens ongoing efforts to combat cholera and protect vulnerable communities throughout Haiti.

Thank you, Jacqueline and Dr. Haroun, and the entire team at Lantana Pharmacy, for standing with Haiti when it mattered most.
